Response to MON Comments Related to TCEQ’s Risk Assessment Approach
In the document “Reconsideration of the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants: Miscellaneous Organic Chemical Manufacturing Residual Risk and Technology Review” (FR 12/21/2022) the EPA (2022a) made several claims about TCEQ’s DSD published in May 2020. This document contains clarifications in response to comments made by EPA regarding TCEQ’s request for reconsideration of EPA’s risk assessment of ethylene oxide (EtO).
