Program Guidance

General information about a program managed by the TCEQ and partner agencies to promote improved water quality in Texas rivers.

This guidance explains how the Clean Rivers Program (CRP) partners work to accomplish the goals and objectives laid out in the Long-Term Plan. Through the partners, the CRP: provides quality-assured data to the TCEQ for use in decision-making, identifies and evaluates water quality issues, promotes cooperative watershed planning, recommends management strategies, informs and engages stakeholders, and maintains efficient use of public funds.
