Information Request Forms for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM)
Engine and vehicle manufacturers can provide information to help TCEQ compile a list of vehicles, engines, and conversion systems eligible for funding under the Texas Natural Gas Vehicle Grants Program (TNGVGP).
How to Respond to the OEM Information Request
Step 1 Determine if your entity should complete the information request form
Information Request Instructions (TCEQ-20609-inst): For OEMs of vehicles, engines, or conversion systems only. If you believe your entity qualifies to complete the information request for the List of Eligible Natural Gas Vehicles and Engines, proceed to Step 2.
Step 2 Select the applicable equipment type and fill out the form
OEM Information Request Forms
- New Chassis-Certified Vehicles (TCEQ-20609-a): Use for purpose-built new chassis-certified vehicles powered by compressed natural gas (CNG), liquefied natural gas (LNG), and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and certified to the current federal emission standard.
- New Heavy-Duty Engines (TCEQ-20609-b): Use for purpose-built new heavy-duty engines powered by CNG, LNG, or LPG and certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to the current federal emission standard.
- Chassis-Certified New Vehicle Conversion Systems (TCEQ-20609-c): Use for systems to convert a new chassis-certified vehicle after initial manufacture as part of a flow-through process before first sale of the new vehicle.
- Existing Heavy-Duty Engine Conversion Systems Certified to Current Federal Emission Standard (TCEQ-20609-d): Use for systems to convert an older existing heavy-duty compression ignition diesel engine to operate on an eligible fuel or a combination of the eligible fuel and diesel fuel (dual-fuel).
- Chassis-Certified Vehicle Conversion Systems Not Certified to Current Federal Emission Standard (TCEQ-20609-e): Use for systems to convert an older existing chassis-certified vehicle under the repower category.
- Heavy-Duty Engine Conversion Systems Not Certified to Current Federal Emission Standard (TCEQ-20609-f): Use for systems to convert an older heavy-duty diesel or gasoline engine under the repower category, either by converting the existing engine on the vehicle or removing and replacing the engine with a converted engine.
Step 3 Submit the form
Secure Site
Submit securely by uploading the file to our FTPS site and selecting the share file(s) button. Enter "TNGVGP-Apply@tceq.texas.gov" as the email address. Note: Information request forms uploaded without completing the share file(s) step will not be considered as submitted.
