TCEQ is proud of our military hiring programs, which provide paid internships and employment to military members and military spouses. We value our partnership with the Department of Defense (DoD) and Hiring Our Heroes.
Internships

The goal of our military internships is to provide meaningful work opportunities related to an intern’s previous work experience or field of study as well as help us fill our open positions at TCEQ with highly qualified individuals.

Employment
All TCEQ job classifications in every Texas region are accessible through TCEQ’s Military Hiring programs.
TCEQ may direct hire military interns or those meeting Military Employment Preference based on the Texas statute for open positions that are not posted to the public, so we encourage you to contact us for all military-related employment inquiries.
