Revision to the State Implementation Plan for Transportation Control Measures (TCMs) adopted on May 3, 2000.

On May 3, 2000, the TCEQ adopted a revision to the Texas State Implementation Plan (SIP) as it relates to Transportation Control Measures. This page provides information on this revision to the SIP.

Key Changes: This revision to the State Implementation Plan (SIP):

  • requires Transportation Control Measure (TCM) project-specific descriptions and estimated emissions reductions to be included in the SIP and
  • allows metropolitan planning organizations in nonattainment areas to substitute TCMs without a SIP revision if the substitution results in equal or greater emission reductions.
