Funding Available for PFAS and Emerging Contaminants

June 2023 – The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) is accepting funding applications through June 7 for wastewater and drinking water projects that reduce exposure to perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and other emerging contaminants.

Funding Application

The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act granted supplemental funds through the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) for projects addressing PFAS and other emerging contaminants. 

For wastewater-related projects, submit your complete CWSRF Emerging Contaminants Project Information Form by email to CWSRF@twdb.texas.gov.

For drinking water-related projects, submit your complete DWSRF Emerging Contaminants Project Information Form by email to DWSRF@twdb.texas.gov

All applications are due by midnight CDT on Wednesday, June 7.
