Webinars on New Annual Reporting Requirements for Scrap Tire Generators and Land Reclamation Projects Using Tires (LRPUTs)

October 2024—TCEQ Scrap Tire Program is hosting three FREE webinars for scrap tire generators and operators of LRPUTs to provide training on the new annual reporting requirements due Dec. 31, 2024.

Registered Scrap Tire Generators and Operators of LRPUTs are now required to annually report their operational status to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). Annual reports will be due every year by Dec. 31 using the State of Texas Environmental Electronic Reporting System (STEERS). The initial operational status report must be submitted no later than Dec. 31, 2024, for each relevant scrap tire registration.

During the webinars, TCEQ staff will provide:

  • An overview of the new reporting requirements.
  • Necessary knowledge and tools to complete your reports accurately and efficiently.
  • Step-by-step guidance on completing the annual reports in STEERS.

Important Note: Before attending the webinar, please set up a STEERS account if you do not already have one. This will allow you to follow along more effectively during the session. The resources below can help you set up your STEERS account:
