Courtesy Compliance Reminders for Public Water System Operators
TCEQ wants to assist public water systems with compliance requirements by sending text or email reminders for important deadlines for public water systems.
How can I receive compliance reminders?
Your public water system contacts can sign up for voluntary email or text reminders.
Communications provided by this service are a courtesy. The public water system remains responsible for complying with all applicable regulations regardless of whether TCEQ provides reminders.
What types of messages can I receive?
Once you are signed up for text or email reminders, you will receive reminders for the following drinking water programs:
- Chemical Monitoring
- Revised Total Coliform Rule
- Consumer Confidence Report
- Disinfectant Level Quarterly Operating Report
- Lead and Copper Rule
- Public Health Service Fees
- Public Notice Rule
TCEQ will continue to expand the types of reminders.
How do I sign up for messages?
On the subscription sign up page, select the subscription type, either email or phone text messages, from the Subscription Type drop-down menu. You can repeat the sign-up process to select an alternate subscription type and set up a password for email subscriptions.
Email Subscriptions

- In the subscription confirmation email, select the link to Manage Subscriptions at the bottom of the email.
- From the Manage Subscriptions link, you will be taken to a page titled ‘Quick Subscribe’ to designate the applicable water systems. You can sign up to receive messages for more than one water system.
