Apply for a Development Permit for Enclosed Structure

Use these forms for a project involving a new enclosed structure, or for an enclosed structure that began development on or after Sept. 1, 1993:

• Application for Development Permit for Proposed Enclosed Structure Over Closed Municipal Solid Waste Landfill (Form TCEQ‑20785), Instructions for 20785 (Form TCEQ-20785-instr)
• If the closed landfill is covered by an existing landfill permit, submit the development permit application as an attachment to an application to modify the landfill permit

• Core Data Form (Form TCEQ-10400)
  Include a completed Core Data Form for the applicant; if the applicant is not the land owner, also include a completed Core Data Form for the land owner

Apply for a Registration of Existing Enclosed Structure

Use these forms for an enclosed structure that existed or began development before Sept. 1, 1993:

• Registration for Existing Enclosed Structure Over Closed Municipal Solid Waste Landfill (Form TCEQ‑20786), Instructions for 20786 (Form TCEQ-20786-instr)
• Core Data Form (Form TCEQ-10400)
  Include a completed Core Data Form for the applicant; if the applicant is not the land owner, also include a completed Core Data Form for the land owner

Use these forms for a project that will not include an enclosed structure:

• Authorization to Disturb Final Cover Over Closed Municipal Solid Waste Landfill for Non-Enclosed Structure (Form TCEQ‑20787), Instructions for 20787 (Form TCEQ-20787-instr)
• Core Data Form (Form TCEQ-10400)
  Include a completed Core Data Form for the applicant; if the applicant is not the land owner, also include a completed Core Data Form for the land owner
• If the closed landfill is covered by an existing permit, submit the authorization request as an attachment to an application for a permit modification

Modifying an Existing Development Permit or Registration for Enclosed Structure, or Authorization to Disturb Final Cover

If you need to modify an existing permit or registration for an enclosed structure, or authorization to disturb final cover, prepare and submit a new development permit application, registration application, or application to disturb final cover detailing the modifications. On the application form, check the "Revisions" box in the first section of the form.
