Reporting Abandoned Tires
Who to notify and how to file an online complaint about abandoned tires.
Tires left near roadways, riverbanks, open fields, or residences can create safety, environmental, and health hazards. For example, tires can pose a fire hazard and provide a habitat for disease causing vectors.
If you notice tires that are improperly disposed of or abandoned, report the location and other details to your local city or county authorities with jurisdiction in the area.
You can also contact the TCEQ regional field office for your area, or file a complaint online with the TCEQ.
