Annual Reporting for Used or Scrap Tire Transporters, Storage Sites, and Facilities

Annual Reporting Period and Due Date
Annual Reports are based on the calendar year (January 1 to December 31).
HOT Annual reports for calendar year 2020 are due March 1, 2021.
Report Forms
If you are a registered transporter, you will need to submit a transporter annual activity report. If you operate a scrap tire facility or storage site, or both, you will need to submit a facility and storage site combined annual activity report. If you are a registered transporter and operate a facility or storage site (or both), you will need to submit both activity reports.

Due to the agency's transition to teleworking, the TCEQ asks you submit reports by e-mail to tirerpts@tceq.texas.gov. If you are unable to email reports you may send by mail to Business and Program Services Section, Scrap Tire Management Program, MC 126, TCEQ, P.O. Box 13087, Austin, TX 78711-3087.
Frequently Asked Questions for the Annual Report

TCEQ uses 20 lbs. for passenger tires and 100 lbs. for off-the-road tires.
Report Summaries
The TCEQ compiles data from annual reports submitted by registered scrap tire transporters and operators of scrap tire storage sites and facilities to obtain information on the scrap tire generation and disposition in the state including the end use market.
