Ambient Air Monitoring: Natural Disasters and Industrial Accidents 2017 to 2021

This page features a report by TCEQ’s Toxicology staff and the Office of Compliance and Enforcement on ambient air quality monitoring following natural disasters and industrial accidents from 2017 to 2021. The report analyzes data collected from Hurricanes Harvey, Laura, and Delta, Winter Storm Uri, and some high-profile industrial events to assess the best use of agency resources and personnel. Also included is a video of a work session with TCEQ commissioners, at which staff provided summary of the report.
