Recreational Survey Report TCEQ completed a report of its Recreational Use Attainability Analysis (RUAA) for these water bodies.
Public Review of Recreational Survey Report The comment period for the report ended October 28, 2011. TCEQ used the public's comments to make an informed recommendation for the recreational use category and criteria to include in the Texas Surface Water Quality Standards.
TCEQ Recommendations

TCEQ recommended the contact recreation use on West Fork Trinity Below Bridgeport Reservoir and Martin Branch remain primary contact recreation 1 and that the contact recreation use on Big Sandy Creek, Garrett Creek, and Salt Creek should be revised to secondary contact recreation 1. TCEQ held a comment period for these recommendations that ended September, 2012. These use changes were included in the 2014 Texas Surface Water Quality Standards.

Final Outcome

TCEQ retained the primary contact recreation 1 use on West Fork Trinity Below Bridgeport Reservoir and Martin Branch.

EPA approved recreation use changes for Big Sandy Creek, Garrett Creek, and Salt Creek.
