The public comment period for the final RUAA report for Ash Creek (0809B), Dosier Creek (0809C), and Derrett Creek (0809D) ended November 23, 2025. TCEQ used the public's comments to make an informed recommendation for the recreational use category and criteria to include in the Texas Surface Water Quality Standards. |

TCEQ recommended the contact recreation use for Ash Creek remain primary contact recreation 1 and recommended the contact recreation use for Derrett Creek and Dosier Creek be revised to primary contact recreation 2. TCEQ held a comment period for these recommendations that ended April 26, 2026. These changes will be considered in the next revision of the Texas Surface Water Quality Standards. |
