EPA Issues Compliance Advisory: Tips for Submitting Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs)
August 2023 - TCEQ and EPA are continuing efforts to reduce the number of individually permitted Texas Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (TPDES) facilities in significant noncompliance (SNC).
Nationally, DMR reporting violations account for over half of the facilities in SNC status. EPA’s Compliance Advisory contains tips for submitting NPDES discharge monitoring reports, including information to help you:
- Verify DMR data in EPA's Enforcement and Compliance History Online (ECHO) tool.
- Understand how and where to submit DMRs.
- Get help if you need support.
- Troubleshoot common errors.
