EPA’s Free Technical Assistance Webinar: Applying Principles of Asset Management to Lead Service Line Inventories

March 2023 – The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is hosting a FREE webinar on March 27th from noon to 1:30 p.m. CDT.

Learn about applying concepts of asset management to help build your lead service line inventory. Attendees will also learn about funding opportunities through the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) to help support lead service line inventories and replacements.

EPA’s Revised Lead and Copper Rule (LCRR) aims to better protect communities from exposure to lead in drinking water. One aspect of this rule requires all community and nontransient noncommunity water systems to develop service line inventories to identify the locations of lead service lines in their distribution system. The compliance date for the LCRR is October 16, 2024. View the LCRR in the Federal Register .
