Free Webinars on Developing an Emergency Preparedness Plan (EPP)
October 2021 - TCEQ is hosting FREE online workshops to help affected water utilities understand the requirements of Senate Bill 3 (SB3) and EPPs.
Senate Bill 3 (87th Legislature 2021) requires water systems that meet the definition of an affected utility to develop and implement an EPP.
The online workshop will include:
- An overview of SB3
- Various EPP alternate power options
- A discussion of the EPP template
- Directions for submitting a Financial Waiver (RG-553)
Small Business and Local Government Assistance (SBLGA) staff will be available to answer questions.
Licensed water operators can receive up to 4 hours of continuing education units for attending.
