TCEQ Seeks Stakeholder Input on the Renewal of the General Permit for Phase II Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4s)

September 2022 - TCEQ is holding a stakeholder meeting in-person and via webcast September 27, 2022, to discuss the upcoming 2024 renewal. This 5-year general permit – TXR040000 – authorizes the discharge of stormwater from small MS4s and expires on January 24, 2024.

  • Join the webcast at least 15-20 minutes before the start time.

During this preliminary drafting stage, you can submit comments on the MS4 general permit by email with a subject line of “2024 Phase II MS4 Renewal” to SWGP@tceq.texas.gov. We will review all comments but will not formally respond. Please submit any comments by October 12, 2022.
