Instructions for Texas Drinking Water Viewer
Coming Soon! How to use the Drinking Water Viewer (DWV) database to find analytical results, schedules, and violations to learn more about the quality of your drinking water and your public water system's compliance with state regulations.
Introduction to Drinking Water Viewer
Coming Soon! Texas Drinking Water Viewer is a database that drinking water operators and the public can use to find information about public water systems. The resources on this page will show you how to find the most useful and commonly requested data in DWV.
Here are some helpful tips to get you started:
- When you search for a public water system enter the PWS ID or system name, but not both, because that will not provide any results. You can search a partial name or narrow down the search by using system type, county, or source-water type.
- Help Information is provided throughout the viewer by clicking on the question marks.
To ensure that communication and compliance information is addressed to the appropriate personnel at your Public Water System, it is important to notify TCEQ of any changes to the contact information.
To update your water systems profile you are required to provide specific documentation. Please see our Update Your Water System Profile webpage for more informaiton.
