2015 Ozone NAAQS Transport SIP Modeling (2012 Episode)

Air quality modeling files and data to support the 2015 Ozone NAAQS Transport SIP.

On August 8, 2018, the TCEQ adopted revisions to the Texas state implementation plan (SIP) to address the transport requirements of the 2015 Eight-Hour Ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards (2015 Ozone NAAQS Transport SIP revision). The TCEQ completed photochemical modeling to support the 2015 Ozone NAAQS Transport SIP revision.

Model Configuration

Meteorological Model: WRF v3.8.1

Photochemical Model: CAMx v6.40 with CB6 r4h (CB6 Release 4 and halogen chemistry). CAMx source code was compiled with PGI compiler v15.7 (with -Kieee option) and MPICH v2-1.2.1p1 on a server running Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.4; the model runs were conducted on a High Performance Computing Cluster (HPCC) running RHEL 6.4 (7 MPI nodes and 16 OMP threads on each node).

Modeling Episode: May 1 - September 30, 2012 (CAMx ramp-up days: April 16 - 30, 2012)

Modeling Data Files

To download a large quantity of modeling files, please use an FTP client software (e.g. FileZilla ) to access our public FTP site:

CAMx input and output files: File List (including CAMx APCA input and output files; total size is 1.2 TB, gzip-compressed)

WRF output files: File List (total size is 3.4 TB, uncompressed)

Due to the large size of these modeling data, they are not available for online download. If you want to obtain the data, please e-mail us at amda@tceq.texas.gov with "Ozone Transport Modeling Files - Data Request" in the subject line and also specify which set of data you request: CAMx, WRF or both.

Pre-CAMx Component Emissions Inventory Data: available for download from the TCEQ Air Modeling FTP site
