Recordkeeping
Under 30 TAC Section 106.8 , your records must identify the rules under which your facility is operating and demonstrate compliance. Be sure you keep at least these records:
- a copy of Section 106.4
- a copy of Section 106.231
- a rolling 24-month archive of purchase receipts for total coatings, solvents, and stripping agents
- if total materials purchased exceeds 550 gallons in any one month, a rolling 12-month record of the amount of materials used per month (to demonstrate that total emissions do not exceed 25 tons per year)
- other records documenting compliance with the above rules
These records must be maintained on site and made available for inspection on request by our staff or the inspectors of any other air pollution control agency having jurisdiction. If you have questions about the type of records you should keep, contact the Air Program in the TCEQ regional office that serves your county.
