Proposed OOOOc Rulemaking and State Plan for Existing Crude Oil and Natural Gas Facilities
TCEQ is adding a new Division 7 to Chapter 113, Subchapter D, to implement the requirements of 40 CFR 60 Subpart OOOOc.
The rule will address applicability, emission standards, monitoring, recordkeeping, testing, and reporting requirements for designated oil and gas facilities. The rules would set emission standards and/or control requirements for emissions of greenhouse gases (primarily methane) from existing facilities in this industry.
For additional information, go to 2024 OOOOc Rulemaking and State Plan for Existing Crude Oil and Natural Gas Facilities.
Proposed Renewal and revision of the Municipal Solid Waste Landfill (MSWL) General Operating Permit (GOP) Number 517
TCEQ is proposing the renewal and revision to the MSWL GOP No. 517.
The proposed GOP will contain revisions based on recent federal and state rule changes, correct typographical errors, and update language for administrative preferences.
Additional information can be found at the General Operating Permits webpage.
Proposed New Non-Rule Air Quality Standard Permit for Natural Gas Electric Generating Units
TCEQ is proposing the issuance of a new non-rule air quality standard permit for natural gas fired electric generating units (EGUs).
The proposed standard permit would provide applicants with more flexibility when seeking authorization of natural gas fired EGUs at a site and would serve as an alternative option to the existing Non-Rule Air Quality Standard Permit for EGUs.
