Air PBR 106.431: Milling and Grinding of Coatings and Molding Compounds

Equipment used exclusively to mill or grind coatings and molding compounds where all materials charged are in a paste form is permitted by rule if the facility meets the conditions stated in 30 TAC Sections 106.4 and 106.431. No registration or recordkeeping is required. This page gives a brief overview of this PBR and links to relevant rules and forms.

To qualify for this PBR, the facility must meet the following criteria:

  • Equipment will be used exclusively to mill or grind coatings and molding compounds where all materials charged are in a paste form.
  • The general conditions stated in 30 TAC Section 106.4
      Complete PBR Applicability Checklist, TCEQ Form – 10149, to determine if the facility meets the general conditions for a PBR.

Note: All PBR checklists that are made available to the public are optional and are not required forms. These checklists are provided for your convenience only.

Tools

Starting November 1, 2024, the Surface Coating Workbook will be required to be submitted with all registrations under 30 TAC Sections 106.431, 106.432, 106.433, 106.434, 106.435, and 106.436.

Applications received on or after November 1, 2024, must use Version 1.0 or newer. If this version number does not match the version number listed on the Cover sheet of the workbook, please clear your browser cache or refresh your screen.

Registration

This PBR does not require you to register or pay a fee.

Recordkeeping

This PBR does not require you to keep records. However, at any time a TCEQ investigator could ask you to collect and present supporting information.
