- Tax Relief for Pollution Control Property - The purpose of this program is to provide tax relief to property owners compelled to install property used to control air, water, and/or land pollution in order to meet or exceed an adopted federal, state, or local environmental law, rule, or regulation. The tax relief is in the form of reduced ad valorem (property) tax.
