About the Stakeholder Group
TCEQ’s Industrial and Hazardous Waste (IHW) Program is seeking input on near-term and future rulemaking topics, including updating state rules due to federal revisions and several potential state-initiated revisions. The IHW Program also welcomes feedback and comments regarding inefficiencies, redundancies, or impediments in the IHW Program and will take these comments into consideration.
This stakeholder group is open to everyone.

Agenda, Notes, and Handouts
TCEQ will host a hybrid meeting on May 13, 2025. This meeting gives stakeholders the opportunity to hear conceptual ideas on potential rule revisions and to provide their feedback, concerns, and ideas on those concepts. Additionally, feedback on other program revisions is always welcome.

Submitting Comments
After TCEQ staff provide an overview of the proposed revisions, there will be a verbal comment period. The meeting will last until everyone has had a chance to speak.
Written comments can also be accepted, starting May 13, 2025 through June 13, 2025. The written comments can be submitted to the following email address: IHWRules@tceq.texas.gov.
This is an opportunity to provide informal comments to TCEQ on the IHW Program. All informal comments received at and following the meeting, will be reviewed by TCEQ staff. While staff will review all comments received, the TCEQ will not formally respond to any informal comments.
