If You Do Not Have an Approved Pretreatment Program and the TCEQ Discovers Problems

Possible requirements of publicly owned treatment works for a non-approved TPDES wastewater pretreatment program if there are problems.

If the TCEQ discovers that wastewater discharges from commercial and industrial facilities have caused interference (see §403.3(k)) or pass through (see s§403.3(p)), especially if the violation is likely to happen again, we may require you to develop and enforce local limits and other elements of an approved pretreatment program.
