Recreational Survey Report TCEQ has completed a report of its Recreational Use Attainability Analysis for these water bodies.
Public Review of Recreational-Survey Report The comment period for the draft report closed in May 2018. TCEQ uses the comments to make informed recommendations for the recreational-use category and criteria for the segments.

TCEQ will publish recommendations for Beals Creek on this webpage when finalized.

TCEQ recommended the contact recreation use on Colorado River Below Lake J.B. Thomas remain primary contact recreation. 

The comment period for draft recommendations on the Colorado River Below Lake J.B. Thomas closed in April 2020. TCEQ will not issue a formal response to comments on the recommendation. If TCEQ formally proposes the recommendations in the future as revisions to the Texas Surface Water Quality Standards, those revisions will be submitted to the public for comment, and TCEQ will issue a formal response to those comments.
