TCEQ recommended the contact recreation use on Buffalo Bayou Above Tidal, Bear Creek, Buffalo Bayou, Langham Creek, South Mayde Creek, Turkey Creek, Mason Creek, Neimans Bayou, Rummel Creek, Spring Branch, Whiteoak Bayou Above Tidal, and Cole Creek remain primary contact recreation. TCEQ recommended the contact recreation use on Brickhouse Gully/Bayou, Unnamed Tributary of Whiteoak Bayou 1017D, and Unnamed Tributary of Whiteoak Bayou 1017E be revised to secondary contact recreation 1. These use changes were included in the 2010 Texas Surface Water Quality Standards.
