Houston-Galveston-Brazoria 8-Hour Ozone SIP Modeling (2005 and 2006 Episodes)

Air quality modeling data files and documents for the 8-hour ozone SIP revision in the Houston-Galveston-Brazoria area (2005 and 2006 episodes).

The TCEQ conducted meteorological and photochemical modeling to support development of the State Implementation Plan in the Houston-Galveston-Brazoria (HGB) ozone nonattainment area for the 1997 eight-hour ozone standard. The data files and documents for the HGB Ozone Modeling of 2005 and 2006 Episodes (HGB8H2) are provided below.

Photochemical Modeling Data Files

The photochemical model CAMx input and output files of the HGB 8-Hour ozone SIP are available in the HGB8H2 CAMx Modeling Directory on TCEQ Air Modeling FTP site . To download a large quantity of modeling files, please use an FTP client software (e.g. FileZilla ) to access our public FTP site:

CAMx Modeling Domain - map projection, horizontal grid and vertical layer structures.

Air Quality Monitoring Sites - info and map of air quality monitoring sites in HGB area.

Observed Air Quality Data - O3, NO, NO2, CO, and VOC data from monitoring sites in HGB area.

CAMx v4.53 Source Code (gzip-tar file) - Environ's non-standard release of CAMx.

Meteorological Modeling Data Files

The TCEQ staff conducted MM5 meteorological modeling of 2005 and 2006 episodes for the HGB 8-hour ozone SIP. Due to the large size of MM5 modeling input and output files, we are unable to provide them via FTP/Web download. To obtain MM5 modeling files, please e-mail us at amda@tceq.texas.gov with "HGB8H2 Ozone SIP MM5 Modeling Files" in the subject line.
