Air Grants: Funding for Vehicles, Equipment, and Fuel Infrastructure

We provide grants and rebates to replace or upgrade older vehicles and equipment to reduce emissions—from electric cars to dump trucks, and from tractors to delivery trucks. Or to buy alternative fuel vehicles and infrastructure to provide fuel for those vehicles.

New or upgraded models pollute less than older ones, improving air quality in Texas. Individuals, businesses, and state and local governments may be eligible for these grants under Texas Emissions Reduction Plan (TERP) and Texas Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Program (TxVEMP).

If you are interested in applying, visit the specific grant’s webpage to find available grant documents, a list of eligible applicants, and project requirements.

Below, see the most common projects eligible to receive funding, and links to the program webpages.
