The comment period for the draft reports ended in 2022. The comment period for the final reports ended September 2023. TCEQ uses the public's comments to make informed recommendations for the recreational use category and criteria to include in the Texas Surface Water Quality Standards. |

The draft Recreational Use Recommendation for Unnamed Tributary of Buffalo Creek public comment period closed December 2024. TCEQ recommended the use for Unnamed Tributary of Buffalo Creek to change to secondary contact recreation 1. This use change will be included in the next TSWQS revision. There is no recommendation for Honey Grove Creek at this time. |
Final Outcome | TCEQ is awaiting EPA approval of recreation use changes. TCEQ will publish final outcomes on this webpage when finalized. |
